Nico Luxury Design
A Hamilton floral and balloon decor studio. Same look, over four times faster on a phone.

The story
Nico Luxury Design sells on beautiful photos: arches, backdrops, flowers. I first built the business's website on Squarespace, and it looked great. But on a phone the big photos took ages to show up, and the business paid a Squarespace subscription for it. So I moved it to my own platform and kept everything customers liked about it: same look, same pages, same addresses. The new version opens almost at once, and there is nothing for the business to look after.

What changed for the business
- It looks exactly the same
- The dark, elegant design and every photo were kept, page by page, on desktop and on a phone. Customers will notice nothing except that it is quicker.
- It opens at once
- People browsing on their phones, often waiting for a photo to load, see it in seconds, not half a minute.
- Nothing to look after
- I host it, keep it secure and make the changes. A message is all it takes.
- New photos are easy to add
- Each gallery is a folder of pictures. Drop a new event in and it shows up, with a full-screen viewer.
- The contact form keeps spam out
- Enquiries reach the inbox without making visitors click on traffic lights.
The numbers
Google's speed test, run on a simulated phone on 10 October 2026, one run per page. The new site was measured on its preview address, before the business's own domain points at it.

Will your site run on my platform?
My platform is fast and cheap to run because it is built for a certain kind of website. Not every site qualifies. This one did.
Your site qualifies if
- It shows what you do: your services, photos, prices and a way to get in touch
- It does not need an online shop, payments or member logins
- You are happy to ask me for changes, instead of logging in and editing yourself
If your site does not qualify
If you want to edit it yourself, or sell online, Squarespace is the right home for it, and I build on it too. This business's first website was built on Squarespace by me, so I can do either, and I will tell you honestly which one fits.
How I made sure nothing was lost
I compared every page of the new site against the old one, on a desktop and on a phone, and fixed what differed, down to the size of a photo and the menu on a small screen. That is the same check I run on every site I move.
